Fitment: Details. I have the stage 3 gen 2 blower currently on an 85mm pulley. The car currently makes whp and wtq. On the 82mm pulley the car made whp and wtq.
Freeing up your exhaust really helps the supercharger breathe. The vmp throttle body sucked for me because the car kept stalling when in neutral.
We put a ford racing 65mm twin jet throttle body on and it fixed all the issues I was having. Vmp makes a good blower but definitely get the car dyno tuned. I saw more gains and better driveability with a dyno tune.
Bought a stock 5. After installing an insane amount of power has been added to the car I recommend this product to anyone who wants more then just the stock experience will give you. For all you mustang fans out there this is the supercharger you want.

I had some issues with parts not being in the box but vmp got them out super fast and without delay. Also I highly recommend you tell AM that you need the tune sheet to fill out because they assumed it was on the tuner and it actually wasn't.
Again I got in touch with VMP with my order info after I submitted it and they did a same day turn around. And let me tell you this VMP really knows what they are doing with their tunes. What modifications do I have to do to my stock coyote engine to make sure the supercharger doesn't ruin my engine? How is it possible to get HP on GT with stock internals? I have the the Stage 3 kit with a 79 mm pulley and I run E I also did the billet OIL Pump gears. Don't get caught up in HP numbers.
Unless you are pounding on it all the time. I am quite happy with mine and with VMP service. I have the kit on my 14' GT, incredible power! Depends on the driver, my traction control gets a work out. From a 75 mph cruise down the freeway and stand on it, traction control wants to take over! HP of this magnitude can be dangerous in any car!

Moreover, the design of the facilitates the same sort of area under the curve as its smaller TVS forbearer, but with a much higher flow potential. You definitively need a spare underpant the first time you run this The power gain is phenomenal, worth every hours worked on Kit come complete with all hose and wire, no need to splice a wire or cut tube, all part fit nicely in place. The only negative point is the installation instruction. Some info are just not right and you have to figured it out yourself. Roush have some pretty instruction though but not all step all common to both supercharger.
This kit is complete. He does not need anything. In the dyno gave hp in the wheels and of torque with gasoline 93octanos. Pure power. You will need some drag tires to use all that power otherwise you will not be able to pull it out of the hole.
The gains are real. I got everything installed at my friends shop. My car feels like a jet now. In order for everything to work properly, you are going to need a custom VMP tune. The tune is included in the kit price, but it does require an SCT tuner. The custom tune will then be emailed to you and you can download it onto the tuner. After all is said and done, you do not need to get the car dyno tuned. It will already have the appropriate tune that will make the car function properly with the supercharger.

NewTekBuzz likes this. I have a Gen 2r with the 82mm pulley on 93 and Intake cams. Obviously not a gen 3 or whipple but I feel like the VMP blowers get a bad name from some. This is pretty low boost. Either one is going to max out a stock block and both are going to make great power and pretty much be maintenance free which is a huge plus.
Cant go wrong with either one, I personally prefer the whipple as theres less modifications that need to be done and the power delivery seems relatively more linear and just crazy up top.

Pushing The Envelope. We kept pulleying down, and it kept picking up. Before we knew it, the car was knocking on the 1,rear-wheel-horsepower door. The road to 1, was littered with pulls in the high s, proving this Coyote could take the abuse again and again. With a few tune tweaks and some consideration on cool-down time between pulls, the 1,plus number happened. The result was over 1, horsepower at the rear wheels with bolt-ons and race gas.
Despite the degree weather in Florida, the blower-discharge temperatures were under degrees, so it is really efficient at creating that kind of power. While at lower boost levels, the Gen3 is comparable to its smaller siblings; its upside is substantially greater. However, our ceiling is now much higher in terms of ultimate airflow potential.
